About Us
Westpoint Martial Arts Academy originated from a Martial Arts School, and has expanded to a Before & After School Program and Activities facility.
Our Mission
We truly understand the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has affected parents in our communities, including education for school-age children. During these extraordinary times, we are willing to help by offering virtual learning opportunities to children at our Academy for FREE while enrolled in our Before School Program or Before & After School Program. Register Today! Spaces are limited for our Before School Program, and Before & After School Program starting Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
Our Expectations
We expect the students to come to our Academy:
- With no signs or symptoms of COVID-19
- To pass a non contact temperature check daily prior to entering the building
- To wear a mask or cloth face covering at all times
- To wash hands frequently (minimum of 20 seconds)
- To maintain 6 ft. social distancing
- Prepared with all of his or her materials needed to participate in the online classwork and homework (computer, headphones, paper, pencils, etc.)
- Determined to learn virtually from the online teacher while the facilitators monitor the room & assist the students with connectivity issues or troubleshooting
- To remain attentive while receiving virtual instruction to complete ones classwork
- To treat others how they want to be treated with respect
- To refrain from bullying, racial slurs or profanity
Schedule
Our Before School Program is on Mondays-Fridays from 7:00am-7:45am. Virtual Learning is from 7:45am-3:15pm, which gives the student 15 minutes to log on prior to 8:00am, and the parent 15 minutes to pick up their child or children between 3:00pm-3:15pm. Our After School Program is from 3:15pm-5:30pm. We will follow the 2020-21 SCS Student Calendar regarding closings for holidays and breaks (i.e. Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring). On Professional Development Day (11/3, 2/5, and 4/16), the students are out, and are welcome to attend our Academy for a FUN day from 7:00am-5:30pm including indoor and outdoor play, park, movies, and a field trip (i.e. Urban Air, CiCi's Pizza, East End Skating) Fee: $20/day.
Fees
Before School Program
Register for our Before School Program (7:00am-7:45am) for $63/week, and receive Virtual Learning (7:45am-3:15pm) for FREE! The registration fee is $60 per child or $100 for 2 or more children for the 2020-21 school year starting Monday, August 31, 2020.
Before & After School Program
Register for our Before School Program (7:00am-7:45am), and our After School Program (3:15pm-5:30pm) for $83/week, and receive Virtual Learning (7:45am-3:15pm) for FREE! The registration fee is $60 per child or $100 for 2 or more children for the 2020-21 school year.
