On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Westpoint Martial Arts Academy will be offering Karate classes at W.E.B. DuBois Consortium of Charter Schools. Classes will consist of learning Korean terminology, proper technique (i.e. stances, kicks, punches, etc.), self-defense, & discipline. In the Karate class (K-8), scholars receive a 45 minute class, once per week. The class fees for the 2019/2020 school year will be drafted on the 2nd of each month for $55.00 or $27.50 on the 2nd and 15th of each month, per scholar for 8 months.

On Wednesday, October 9th, Ms. Westpoint will be onsite from 3:15pm-5:15pm. Parents must come inside and fill out the agreement providing their debit or credit card information for $55.00, which includes a flat rate fee of $27.50 for the month of October, and a 1/2 payment of $27.50 for the uniform, which includes the jacket, pants, and the white belt. Additionally, scholars will get sized for their uniforms so that we know what size to order. The remainder of the $27.50 for the uniform will be drafted on Friday, October 18th. Lastly, in May of 2020, the scholars will promote to their yellow belt, which includes a ceremony with a certificate and belt for a one-time fee of $40.
